Good evening everyone,
It’s been a beautiful day today, here in East Texas. Now, as much as I like the Vintage and Classic Cars of the 50′s and 60′s, my 1st Love after my sweet Wife of 23 years is “Flying Warbird’s. So here are my favorites in the Warbird Catagory. These Aircraft I have flown at one time or another over the last 30 some odd years.
Boing B-29 Superfortriss Owned by the Commemritive Airforce (CAF). This Aircraft is the ONLY flying example flying in the World.
Boing C-47 Transport.
Curtis P-40 Warhawk.
Republic P-47D Thunderbolt. It’s Pilots called it the “JUG”
North American P-51C
Probably the most recognised Boing B-17G flying today “Texas Raders”. Owned by the CAF and flown by the Gulf Coast Wing.
My Pride and Joy! FG-1D Corsair built by Goodyear in early 1945. Called Marines Dream!
F4U-1D Corsair built by Chance Vaught in Dallas,Tx. in late 1944.
That’s it for this addition, we will be leaving on Thursday for the Galveston,Kemiah area of the Texas Gulf Coast, taking the Grand Kids Fishing and to NASA.
